Product Review - UV Doux Silicone Sunscreen Gel

Yes.... I was one of you!!! "Sunscreens are such a hype... 🤷 It's all Bluff and another marketing gimmick.... "

That's when I started having comedones and slightly maturing skin.... STILL!!! I was stubborn and neglected the fact that Sunscreens are just hoax... 🙄

I hopefully wasn't late to realise what was happening with my skin. Over time I also fortunately came accross so many proven benefits upon regular usage of Sunscreens.

Ofcourse the market has so many options in all shapes and sizes (you know what I mean 😉) but choosing right sunscreen which simultaneously effective and harmless Is a test from hell!!

I have a fair share of experiences with Sunscreen... I wasn't completely satisfied with any of Market Toppers and had to broaden my horizons which was a right thing 

So coming to the point I came across UV Doux range of Dermatologically Tested and Clinically Proven Sunscreens a while ago and I am glad that I didn't settle for less... 😅

Claims

UV Doux is a broad spectrum sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB radiations. It is non-comedogenic, non-irritant, water resistant, oil and preservative free preparation.

Ingredients

Octyl Methoxy Cinnamate, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylaminohydroxyl benzoate, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Bemotrizinol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Diethylhexyl Syringy Lidenemalonate, Caprylic Triglyceride, Cross Polymer, Perfume, Silicone Elastomer Blend.

Directions for use

Apply liberally and evenly on face, neck and exposed area of skin 20 to 30 minutes prior to sun exposure.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry and dark place do not freeze.

Packaging, Content and Fragrance

The packing and is very promising. It comes with an outer carton box not cellophane wrapped like the usual ones. 

It comes with an instruction leaflet and cut out flap at the bottom to hold the main tube in place. 

The tube dispenser is narrow so no worrying about extras. It's a light sunny yellow colored cream . The consistency is medium soft with a subtle fragrance which fades away to nothingness post application.

My Opinion and review

Sunscreens are like morning coffee.. Our skin needs a morale boost just like our mood. I am pretty happy with this sunblock... Perfect! For those Oh! So Hot! Days.

It gives an ultra matte finish and maintain the shine free look for hours. Water and sweat are no match for this baby. It's let's the skin breathe happily doesn't feel clogged or heavy. The best part is...it's non irritant as the claims... So sensitive skin beauties grab yours now!!

I pretty much love how it's paraben free as most of the beauty world swims in paraben.

It is also alcohol free and no added preservatives. All the good things sourced into one product is a must buy...!

And my skin is finally healing from comedones (several tiny bumps on face) which is a prominent result of not using sunscreen 🤠

This is no doubt a one size fits all like master piece that everyone must have in their essentials cabinet.
